NEW SKINCARE/HAIRCARE PRODUCTS

I haven't been shopping much lately, especially when it comes to cosmetics but I did buy some necessities. Unfortunately not because I was left with empty tubes but because of a lovely man at the airport that made me throw away my awesome pink Big Fat Shampoo (I posted about it here, and I'm gonna review it along with the conditioner soon) and my L'Oreal Micellar Water which I reviewed here. So yeah, thumbs up for the airport man.

So I went to the drugstore in need of a shampoo and a make-up remover. At first I bought the mini version of the John Frieda Full Repair shampoo and as I really liked it, I decided to buy a normal size shampoo after coming back from London. I went for the Frizz-Ease Shampoo which is supposed to give me "dream curls". I haven't tried it yet so I am very excited to see those dream curls on my head. As for the make-up remover I bought the Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover. I've already used it and I have to say, I'm in love! It gets rid of my waterproof mascara in seconds!

Another skincare product I purchased... or re-purchased is a Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone. I honestly love this product! You can read a full review here.

Have you ever used any of these products? What did you think?

  2. I've had the John Frieda shampoo & conditioner, and I absolutely loved them! I used to have a curly hair when I was younger so I bought them hoping that they'd enhance my curls which were pretty much turning into odd wavy hair. But unfortunately I have to say that I didn't see too much of a difference. I've also used the one meant for straight hair and I feel like they both work pretty much the same (the one for curly locks might be just a tad more moisturizing). But I do love the conditioner especially because it made my hair soft and smooth and I couldn't stop touching my hair. :-) I've wanted to repurchase it since but for some reason I never have. I also have to say that I love Nivea's makeup removers, they work wonders.

    Lovely post!
