GETTING IN THE CHRISTMAS MOOD: THE CHRISTMAS TAG

I've said this before but I am going to say it one more time - I love Christmas time. And I love getting into the Christmas mood, buying decorations, eating Christmas food and listening to Christmas songs. I just love it! What I also love is buying socks (really, I think I even might be an addict, a sockaholic) so when I saw these Christmas socks in Primark I just couldn't resist! Aren't they the cutest?

I saw this Christmas tag some time ago over on Amy's blog (srslylou) and as she tagged all readers I thought "why not?" It's also the first tag I've ever done on this blog so let's see how it goes:

DO YOU PREFER A REAL CHRISTMAS TREE OR SYNTHETIC?

I definitely prefer real Christmas tree. Even though a synthetic one almost always looks better and there's far less vacuuming under it (and I'm always the one at home that has to do it), I still love having a real tree. It gives Christmas this magical something, something a synthetic Christmas tree would never give.

YOU'RE IN A COFFEE SHOP, IT'S DECEMBER, WHAT DO YOU PICK?

Well, I don't really drink coffee (shocker, I know!) but I can see myself picking a coffee during Christmastime, I'd even drink one right now! So, in December I would either pick a classic hot chocolate (with marshmallows if possible) or one of those ginger-flavoured coffees.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR SCHEME FOR DECORATING THE TREE?

Red, red, red! For couple of years now we've been decorating our tree red. I just love how it looks like! Well, it's mostly red... we always go a little crazy and add some different colours, we have those pretty pink, purple, green and blue baubles and even though they don't really fit the whole colour scheme, they somehow always end up on the tree... Oh well.

GIVING OR RECEIVING?

For me, giving gifts is very stressful, I never know what to give and I worry if the receiver will like the gift or not. So I know it might sound a little bit selfish, but I do prefer receiving gifts!

TO MINCE PIE OR NOT TO?

It might be hard to believe but I've actually never tried a mince pie, after all I'm not British. But as I would really love to try it one day (even though after reading what it really is, it doesn't sound very delicious) so I'd go for "to mince pie"!

WHAT'S YOUR TRADITIONAL SUNDAY LUNCH?

The most important meal in Poland is on Christmas eve, so I'll write about that. I always start the dinner with some fish soup, then I eat salmon with mashed potatoes and cabbage with mushrooms. It is the most delicious meal in the whole world!

CHRISTMAS DAY FASHION

I always wear something nice and chic during Christmas eve dinner, probably a skirt or a dress. The same happens when I go to my grandmother's the next day or the day after. But "nice and chic" isn't the best way to describe my Christmas fashion, because mostly I just wear my comfy sweatshirt, some pants and thick warm socks. That's the way I roll!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG?
I've actually been asked this question today and I'm sorry but I don't know the answer. I love them all so much that I just can't choose one! So my favourite Christmas songS are: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (I especially love the Glee version of it), All I Want For Christmas (of course), Let It Snow, Winter Wonderland and Christmas (Baby Please Come Home). Oh and Jingle Bell Rock! Yes, I think that's all (probably not).

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS FILM?

Now that, as a matter of fact, is a very easy question. "Love Actually", there's no arguing about that. It does count as a Christmas movie, doesn't it?

OPEN PRESENTS BEFORE OR AFTER LUNCH?

We always open presents after Christmas eve dinner, so even though we get them quite early comparing to other countries the answer to that question would be - after.

If any of you'd like to do this tag, fell free to do it, I tag you all! Don't forget to leave the link to it below, I would really love to read them! Also, I tag my sister Martyna form Neon Mizzle because I would love to read her answers!

Thanks for being here! Follow me on bloglovin'!
