MY THOUGHTS ON: GARNIER MOISTURE MATCH - SHINE BE GONE

I have an oily skin but don't worry, I've somehow learned to live with it and every time I see products destined for people with oily skin, I'm first in the queue to buy them. Lately, Garnier released a line of five similar but different products. Garnier Maisture Match are all moisturisers but each one is destined to different type of skin.

PROTECT & GLOW is destined for normal skin. It makes the skin look more radiant, gives it a healthy glow and keeps the skin hydrated. It also protects it from the sun as it has SPF 20. START AFRESH is for normal, dry and sensitive skin. It's a non-greasy and quick to absorb moisturiser. GOODBYE DRY... is for dry and very dry skin. It moisturises the skin very fast without leaving any grease. WAKE ME UP is for dull skin. It's a gel that gives the skin a fresh and radiant look. SHINE BE GONE is for combination and oily skin. It's helps reduce the appearance of shine and gives the fresh matte effect finish.

The one I've chosen is obviously Shine Be Gone (such a lovely name, isn't it?). I bought it last week and I've used it every day in the morning since then. I use it as a base before putting on my Astor BB Cream. When I used it for the first time, a week ago I already knew I was going to love it. It has a very nice scent, I can't really describe it but I think it reminds me of cucumbers. It's very refreshing. It absorbs very quickly and gives my skin a nice matte finish. I really love the consistency of it, it's kind of sorbety, if you know what I mean. The only thing I don't like about this product is that it doesn't combat the oil for the whole day, especially now when it's so hot outside, but the price of it makes me want to forgive Garnier for this little detail.

Have you tried any of these five moisturisers? What do you think?

  4. Great review Justine, I think these garnier moisturizers sound fab!

And I've not actually considered getting a moisturizer for my skin type (combination/dry) before, so I probably should haha :)

  5. I've never heard of these before! I love that they made different formulas and made them all different colors. I kind of want all of them, even though that's ridiculous. I wonder if/when they'll be available in the US.

(By the way, I nominated you for a Liebster Award, if you're interested! You can find details about it in the post I made here.)
