MY THOUGHTS ON: 17 STAY TIME PRIMER AND FOUNDATION

Some time ago I bough my first Seventeen cosmetics without knowing ANYTHING about the brand. But I decided to take the risk anyway, especially as all  Seventeen cosmetics were then on offer. When my eyes see "offer" my brain thinks "buy". So I bought the Seventeen Stay Time Foundation and Seventeen Stay Time Primer

As for the primer, I'm gonna say it's not bad but it's also not what I expected it to be. Its formula is very thick, I've actually never used a primer like this before. It has a nude shade but after blending it into the skin it becomes transparent. It's described as a "glue that keeps foundation on" and I have to say that this description is quite decent. It feels a little bit like glue on face... It's probably because it dries very quickly and sometimes I can't even blend it correctly. Also this primer doesn't prevent shining and that is a big disadvantage for a person with oily skin like me. As I said before, it's not bad, I'm sure a lot of people may like it, it's just not for me.

Now about the foundation. At first I should say that I chose the wrong shade, it is a little bit too dark but fortunately I can still use it. Apart from that the foundation is good. It gives a full coverage as it's quite thick. It blends very well and stays put for a very long time. One drawback of this foundation is that (just like the primer) it's not really for people with oily skin as my skin tends to shine after using it.

In a nutshell, I probably won't repurchase any of these products. I'm going to keep using my favourite foundation which is Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation and continue searching for a perfect primer. If you know any good primers that you think I may try, please tell me in the comment section below!

  3. Oh that sucks. I'm not sure I like the sound of "feels like glue" on your face! lol… Too bad but maybe you can use the foundation next summer!
