NEW SKINCARE/HAIRCARE PRODUCTS

I haven't been shopping much lately, especially when it comes to cosmetics but I did buy some necessities. Unfortunately not because I was left with empty tubes but because of a lovely man at the airport that made me throw away my awesome pink Big Fat Shampoo (I posted about it here, and I'm gonna review it along with the conditioner soon) and my L'Oreal Micellar Water which I reviewed here. So yeah, thumbs up for the airport man.

So I went to the drugstore in need of a shampoo and a make-up remover. At first I bought the mini version of the John Frieda Full Repair shampoo and as I really liked it, I decided to buy a normal size shampoo after coming back from London. I went for the Frizz-Ease Shampoo which is supposed to give me "dream curls". I haven't tried it yet so I am very excited to see those dream curls on my head. As for the make-up remover I bought the Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover. I've already used it and I have to say, I'm in love! It gets rid of my waterproof mascara in seconds!

Another skincare product I purchased... or re-purchased is a Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone. I honestly love this product! You can read a full review here.

NEW IN: ANOTHER DRUGSTORE HAUL

I'm already in Ireland which means that I actually needed to go to the drugstore before going away for five months. Of course, I didn't need to buy all of these items but when something is 50% off, you just buy it, right?

GARNIER PURE ACTIVE FRUIT ENERGY DAILY ENERGISING GEL WASH  aka my favourite gel wash ever. It's actually the first time I'm repurchasing it but I already know it's not the last time. It's perfect for a skin like mine which is oily with imperfections but what I love about it the most is its grapefruit and pomegranate scent. It's so energising!

LEE STAFFORD MY BIG FAT HEALTHY HAIR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER - I've tried Lee Stafford's product before. It was the Nourishing Miracle Oil I reviewed here. I didn't like it at all but I decided to give this brand another chance. And the reason for that is my sister. She's almost used them up already and she loves them... a lot! She also wrote a review which you can read by clicking here.

CATRICE SMOKEY EYES PENCIL 010 THE BLACK EARL - I also needed a new black eye pencil. I've never tried anything from Catrice before but I decided to give it a go anyway. And when I saw a word "smokey" I was sold. It also has a brush applicator that helps smudge the pencil so I am very excited to try it!

L'OREAL SUPER LINER EYE LINER IN INTENSE BLACK - I by no means needed a new eyeliner but as I mantioned before when something like that is 50% off, you don't hesitate. You buy it. I bought it and I'm very happy I did. It's very slim so I reckon it will be very easy to apply. I can't wait to give it a try!

BOURJOIS DÉLICE DE POUDRE BRONZING POWDER (52) - Finally! I've been wanting this product for a really long time. A chocolate shaped bronzing powder? Yes, please. I can't wait to eat ... I mean, I can't wait to put it on my face, of course.

MY THOUGHTS ON: GARNIER MOISTURE MATCH - SHINE BE GONE

I have an oily skin but don't worry, I've somehow learned to live with it and every time I see products destined for people with oily skin, I'm first in the queue to buy them. Lately, Garnier released a line of five similar but different products. Garnier Maisture Match are all moisturisers but each one is destined to different type of skin.

PROTECT & GLOW is destined for normal skin. It makes the skin look more radiant, gives it a healthy glow and keeps the skin hydrated. It also protects it from the sun as it has SPF 20. START AFRESH is for normal, dry and sensitive skin. It's a non-greasy and quick to absorb moisturiser. GOODBYE DRY... is for dry and very dry skin. It moisturises the skin very fast without leaving any grease. WAKE ME UP is for dull skin. It's a gel that gives the skin a fresh and radiant look. SHINE BE GONE is for combination and oily skin. It's helps reduce the appearance of shine and gives the fresh matte effect finish.

The one I've chosen is obviously Shine Be Gone (such a lovely name, isn't it?). I bought it last week and I've used it every day in the morning since then. I use it as a base before putting on my Astor BB Cream. When I used it for the first time, a week ago I already knew I was going to love it. It has a very nice scent, I can't really describe it but I think it reminds me of cucumbers. It's very refreshing. It absorbs very quickly and gives my skin a nice matte finish. I really love the consistency of it, it's kind of sorbety, if you know what I mean. The only thing I don't like about this product is that it doesn't combat the oil for the whole day, especially now when it's so hot outside, but the price of it makes me want to forgive Garnier for this little detail.

Have you tried any of these five moisturisers? What do you think?

NEW IN: PEACHY GARNIER, NAIL POLISH AND LIP CRAYON

So.. I was in drugstore, again. But everything's fine, I only bought what I needed, kind of. I actually walked into the drugstore to buy the lip crayon as it was on sale but oh well, buying two more things is not a crime.

A girl always needs a good, moisturising body lotion, right? And even though I wasn't in need of one, somehow after stepping into the drugstore the need reappeared. And of course the mint packaging got me. And the peachy scent. So I bought it. It is supposed to absorb very quickly because in only 7 seconds so I am really excited to check it... with a watch on my hand.

Some time ago I made a post about 60 seconds nail polish in Sun Downer and I wrote there that they are not the best nail polishes I have ever had because they seem to chip off after 2-3 days. And one coat is definitely not enough as the producer claims. But I decided to give them another chance because colours of these nail polishes are amazing! I think the Sky High looks very pretty and summery!

I also made a review post about Bourjois lip crayon in 'Orange Punch' two days ago in which I wrote that it's my favourite lip product I've tried so far. And I also mentioned that 'Peach On The Beach' is on my wishlist... so, it no longer is! I can finally tick it off the list! I think I even love this colour more than 'Orange Punch"!

Have you tried any of this products? Let me know what you think!
