TRYING OUT SOME ESSENCE ESSENTIALS

I've noticed a lot of hype surrounding Essence lately and I think it's probably because the brand recently hit the UK. I've known this brand earlier as in Poland we've had it since I can remember but I've never really tried it. I have been in a need for a new mascara so I've decided to give something new a go. I'm still in love with my awesome waterproof Maybelline The Rocket mascara, I will definitely repurchase it very soon but for now I'm going to try the Get Big Lashes Triple Black mascara. I've had three mascaras to choose from: a volumising one a waterproof volumising one and a triple black one but since I love my lashes to be superblack I went for this one. I think I will love it!

Along with the mascara I also bought the Mono Eyeshadow in 22 Blockbuster. I've noticed that my make up collection lacks a matte light eyeshadow that can be used as a base. So I've decided to pick up this one. I've already tried it and I really like it. It works really well as a base for an eyeliner.

The last thing I bought is the Nail Polish inn Hello Marshmallow!. I have it on my nails right now and I love the shade! I can't stop looking at my nails! I can't tell anything about the longevity yet but applying it was very good, the nail polish was opaque in two coats which rarely happens with such light shades. What I also like about it is that it has a very subtle blue shimmer in it. It is almost invisible but it gives an amazing effect in the sun.

NEW IN: ANOTHER 3 FOR 2 MINI HAUL

Did I mention that I love offers? Well, I do and that's why I just had to take advantage of the special offer in Superdrag just one more time.

This time I went for the lips. I spotted the Collection Colour Pout Lip Stain in a drugstore quite a long time ago so I'm very happy that I finally got it. I've tried a lip stain only once before and it was a Primark one, so it probably wasn't the best quality but I loved it anyway. So I'm very very happy that I finally have a decent lip stain. And the shade ("Flirt") is just perfect!

As for lip products I also bought a green lipstick. I know it might sound a little bit weird but it actually is green. Well... almost. The Barry M Lip Paint in "Touch of Magic" is.. well, I don't really know how to describe it but I think it's name says it all. It really is a touch of magic! I have no idea how it works but when I put this green lipstick on my lips it turns into pink. What's even better is that it changes into different pink on my lips and different pink on my hand. MAGIC.

The last thing I got as a part of this offer is a Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. It's actually a repurchase because my first powder is almost finished and I love it so so much, I decided to buy a new one already! It's definitely the best powder I've used so far!

NEW IN: 3 FOR 2 MINI HAUL

Last month there was a major offer in Superdrag so (because I'm me) I decided to buy some more stuff I don't really need... well, in practical terms of course. It wasn't a normal "3 for 2" offer as all make-up products were involved! This made me really happy because I got to choose from different brands.

I posted about buying the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer before, as a part of my sister haul. As you can see in the picture, I've already been using it. The packaging is awful, all the black print stays on my hands when I use it but I can forgive Collection for that, because this concealer is amazing! Definitely one of the best I've used!

The next thing I bought as a part of that offer is a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Watermelon. I know the shade looks nothing like watermelon, I would actually expect a watermelon nail polish to be red but I guess Barry M thinks otherwise. This nail polish is just perfect for the autumn (even though the name sounds really summery), don't you think?

The last thing I bought is the Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Midnight Glam. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet but when I did try it in the store on my hand it just didn't want to come off! I think it will be amazing! It's also waterproof so I have high expectations! As for the shade, it's black with a little glance of dark green. Or maybe that's just me who sees it because I really love dark green eyeshadows lately...

NEW IN: SISTERS HAUL

As you know, my sister, who also is Martyna from NEON MIZZLE (you might know her but if not, go check out her blog because it's definitely my favourite!) came to visit me in Ireland. But visiting was not the only purpose of her trip, she also came her for shopping, obviously! And as I went to all these drugstores with her, I couldn't just let her spend all the money by herself, could I? You should know that as sisters, we are very close. So close that we also buy A LOT of the same products (yeah... even the same shades). And that is exactly why this haul happened.

The first stop was Boots and as they had an offer 3 for €12 on selected Seventeen cosmetics, we just couldn't resist. I have to say, I've never tried any Seventeen cosmetics before so I have no idea if they're good or not but I am very excited to give them a try. We both went for a Stay Time Long Wear Primer, that was an obvious choice for me because I was just running out of my previous primer. We also bought the Stay Time Foundation in shade Natural. It is supposed to give a full coverage and stay put for 25 hours. I don't know who has their make up on for 25 hours but for me the longer the better. The last thing we both bought is a Phwoarr Paint in shade Medium. I've seen many beauty bloggers rave about it. It's supposed to be used on dark circles under eyes and as I'm struggling with them lately, I think it would be perfect for me!

Another thing we both bought is a Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I've been wanting this concealer for ages! I don't think there's a one person in blogging world who has not rave about it. So me and my sister decided to give it a try as well. The next stop was Topshop. I've always wanted to try a cream blush but nothing ever caught my attention like Topshop's blush in Flush. It's my first cream blush so I am more excited to see how it works on my cheeks! I'm also in love with the shade!

And the last stop, Penneys. What's the point in buying all these cosmetics if you don't have a pretty make-up bag to keep them in? Exactly, there's no point. So we hit Penneys and found ourselves some pretty make-up bags. My sister got a black rock style one with bunch on skulls and I got a black quilted one with a white bow. I think they suit our personalities and styles perfectly!

So, that's the whole sister haul. Have you ever tried any of these products? What did you think?

NEW IN: RIMMEL

I haven't been shopping in cosmetics department in quite a long time so I was more than happy to finally hit the drugstore couple days ago. I bought some things and when I arrived home I realised that everything I bought is Rimmel. I must really love that brand!

I wanted a nice and small eyeshadow palette for grey smoky eye for a really long time! I've used an H&M Smoky palette before but it wasn't that good. So when I saw this Glam'Eyes HD eyeshadow palette in 001 Black Cab I just had to have it. And for a Union Jack lover like me, a palette like that is a dream come true. The next palette I bought is a Glam'Eyes Quad Eyeshadow palette in 022 Thrill Seeker. I wanted a green eyeshadow like that for a really long time. I found a single eyeshadow in the same shade but I decided to get it in a palette instead. This way I get three nice shades more, right? I haven't tried both of these palettes yet but I am really excited to!

The next thing I got is a Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal eye liner/pencil in 012 Bronze. As it's waterproof, I really hope it's not going to smudge, even a little bit. I am really excited to try this as I've seen some other pretty colours in the drugstore waiting for me to get them.

The last Rimmel product I picked up is a Wake Me Up Instant Radiance Shimmer Touch in 002 Radiant Rose. It's a mousse that illuminates the skin and gives it a touch of radiance. I've already tried it and I have to say that I LOVE IT. It gives a little colour but the illuminating effect is great! It gives the face a healthy look and brightens up the eye. AMAZING. I love it that much that I'm definitely going to write a full review very soon.

NEW SKINCARE/HAIRCARE PRODUCTS

I haven't been shopping much lately, especially when it comes to cosmetics but I did buy some necessities. Unfortunately not because I was left with empty tubes but because of a lovely man at the airport that made me throw away my awesome pink Big Fat Shampoo (I posted about it here, and I'm gonna review it along with the conditioner soon) and my L'Oreal Micellar Water which I reviewed here. So yeah, thumbs up for the airport man.

So I went to the drugstore in need of a shampoo and a make-up remover. At first I bought the mini version of the John Frieda Full Repair shampoo and as I really liked it, I decided to buy a normal size shampoo after coming back from London. I went for the Frizz-Ease Shampoo which is supposed to give me "dream curls". I haven't tried it yet so I am very excited to see those dream curls on my head. As for the make-up remover I bought the Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover. I've already used it and I have to say, I'm in love! It gets rid of my waterproof mascara in seconds!

Another skincare product I purchased... or re-purchased is a Garnier Moisture Match Shine Be Gone. I honestly love this product! You can read a full review here.

NEW IN: BEAUTY AND JEWELLERY

Going to Ireland at first meant one thing for me: shopping. After finding out that I'm actually going, the first thing I did was checking where Penneys and Boots are and when I found out they're both in Letterkenny, I was good to go.

The first stop was Boots. I knew about this offer win which you get a Luminous Red nail inc. nail polish free with Colgate Max White One toothpaste before, as many bloggers were writing about it, so I went straight to that section in Boots because who wouldn't want a free nail inc. nail polish? Actually, for me is more like I paid for the nail polish and got the toothpaste free... Anyway, I haven't tried it yet but I am very excited to! What I also got in Boots is a MUA blush in shade Bubble Gum. I was going to buy the cream blush but when I tried it on my hand, I didn't like it that much so decided to give a powder one a go. I haven't tried it yet as well, but I will definitely let you know how I like it.

The rest of things you see in the photo above are all from Primark (not Penneys, as I actually bought them all in London when I was there last week). The first thing I bought there is a Hamsa hand necklace. I've been looking for something like that for ages, literally (Well, not literally because I haven't even lived one age but you know what I mean). Same thing with those earrings, ages of searching. And I finally got them, at an awesome price (£1,50)! I also decided to give a Primark lip stain a go. I've already tried it and I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with it. It look amazing on my lips and stays on them for a long time but smells like an actual pen and dries out my lips. But it really looks great, so I'm gonna keep using it! I already regret I didn't buy one or two more because we unfortunately don't have those here in Letterkenny, Ireland.

NEW IN: BARRY M NAIL POLISHES

You know that amazing feeling when you step into the drugstore and you see this big sign saying "3 for 2"? I know that feeling now. I went into Superdrug couple days ago and saw that exact thing and it was all about Barry M. As I couldn't just leave the store without anything I bought three Barry M nail polishes.

Picking those colours wasn't difficult at all as I made a Barry M wishlist some time ago.

Matt White was the most obvious choice as I wanted a good white (opaque in two coats) nail polish and I heard this one is pretty good. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it will meet my expectations!

Strawberry Ice Cream is a nice pale-but-not-too-pale pink. I wanted such nail polish for a long time now. I've probably mentioned this million times before but I really do love my H&M's Pink Macaroon. Unfortunately it is very low quality (it chips one day after applying) so I was looking for something similar. Firstly, I bought Rimmel Salon Pro in New Romantic. Unfortunately it's not opaque even in three coats... So that's the reason why I've bought Strawberry Ice Cream. I've already tried it and I love it! It could be a LITTLE bit lighter, so I will still keep my eyes open on pale pink nail polishes but the formula is totally amazing! It stays very long on nails without any chipping. I'm in love!

Gold Mine Glitter is the one I spend about 15 minutes deciding on. It was not on my wishlist but a very similar one called Sequin Nail Effects - Black was and as Gold Mine Glitter was slightly cheaper and my budget is quite tight at the moment, I've chosen it! I've also used it already and I think it's amazing! I'm so glad I've picked it!

The "3 for 2" offer doesn't end till the end of September so if you want to try these Barry M nail polishes you can get them in Superdrug, £2.99 each so you can get three amazing nail polishes for £5.98. BARGAIN!

Do you like Barry M nail polishes? Which colours are your favourite?

PS. Sorry for not posting much lately but I'm actually in London for 4 days now. Just making my dream come true, no biggie. I'll be back in Sunday evening! Hope you're all fine. xx

NEW IN: ANOTHER DRUGSTORE HAUL

I'm already in Ireland which means that I actually needed to go to the drugstore before going away for five months. Of course, I didn't need to buy all of these items but when something is 50% off, you just buy it, right?

GARNIER PURE ACTIVE FRUIT ENERGY DAILY ENERGISING GEL WASH  aka my favourite gel wash ever. It's actually the first time I'm repurchasing it but I already know it's not the last time. It's perfect for a skin like mine which is oily with imperfections but what I love about it the most is its grapefruit and pomegranate scent. It's so energising!

LEE STAFFORD MY BIG FAT HEALTHY HAIR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER - I've tried Lee Stafford's product before. It was the Nourishing Miracle Oil I reviewed here. I didn't like it at all but I decided to give this brand another chance. And the reason for that is my sister. She's almost used them up already and she loves them... a lot! She also wrote a review which you can read by clicking here.

CATRICE SMOKEY EYES PENCIL 010 THE BLACK EARL - I also needed a new black eye pencil. I've never tried anything from Catrice before but I decided to give it a go anyway. And when I saw a word "smokey" I was sold. It also has a brush applicator that helps smudge the pencil so I am very excited to try it!

L'OREAL SUPER LINER EYE LINER IN INTENSE BLACK - I by no means needed a new eyeliner but as I mantioned before when something like that is 50% off, you don't hesitate. You buy it. I bought it and I'm very happy I did. It's very slim so I reckon it will be very easy to apply. I can't wait to give it a try!

BOURJOIS DÉLICE DE POUDRE BRONZING POWDER (52) - Finally! I've been wanting this product for a really long time. A chocolate shaped bronzing powder? Yes, please. I can't wait to eat ... I mean, I can't wait to put it on my face, of course.

I WENT TO DRUGSTORE... AGAIN. | MINI HAUL

Yesterday I went to drugstore with my sister and while we were stepping in we started wondering when we started being more excited for the drugstore shopping than clothes shopping. We still don't know the answer but I think this whole blogging thing had its part in it. This time I bought six products, a hair mask, two nail polishes, a lipstick, a brow enhancer and a mascara.

REVLON COLORSTAY BROW ENHANCER: I've never seen this before so it was a totally spontaneous buy. I bought it in colour Light Brown/Champagne and I hope it will match perfectly, I think it should. I haven't tried it yet but I'm really excited to. It is dual-ended wand which includes tinted wax (softly colours and sets brows) and a highlighter (brightens the eye area).

RIMMEL SALON PRO NAIL POLISH IN NEW ROMANTIC: I've been wanting a pale pink nail polish for quite long now. I really love my H&M's Pink Macaroon (click) but unfortunately its quality isn't the highest. I really hope this one will be much much better.

MAYBELLINE COLOR RAMA NAIL POLISH:  White is another nail polish shade I've wanted for a really long time. I think it might be a little too late for buying white nail polish as I think it's more of a summery colour. But who cares, I love white mani so much I'm gonna rock it this autumn.

MAYBELLINE COLOR WHISPER: This lipstick is another spontaneous buy. Lately I find myself buying lipsticks every time I'm shopping. This has to stop as I obviously don't need that many lipsticks. Anyway, I love it! The colour I chose is called "Pink Possibilities" and I'm definitely going to get some other shades.

MAYBELLINE VOLUM' EXPRESS THE ROCKET WATERPROOF MASCARA: My sister has bough it some time ago and she hasn't stopped raving about it since. The only thing she doesn't like about it is that the regular formula sometimes smudges a little bit. That's why I got the waterproof formula. I've tried it today and it didn't smudge at all so I think I'm gonna like it very very much.

BIOELIXIRE ARGAN OIL HAIR MASK: I once did a post about Lee Stafford's Arganoil (click) and mostly what I wrote there was "it sucks". But I decided to give argan oil another chance but this one I chose it in a form of hair mask. It is supposed to thicken my hair and add shine. I can't wait to try it!

That's all for today's haul. Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
