MY THOUGHTS ON: NYC IN A NEW YORK COLOUR MINUTE QUICK DRY NAIL POLISHES

When I was still in Ireland I bought two NYC In a New York Colour Minute Quick Dry nail polishes. I really wish there were more colours available in that drugstore because oh man, these nail polishes are amazing!

Unfortunately I got only two of them. The first one is called Manhattan which is a very deep burgundy/plummy tone. This shade is perfect for the Autumn and Winter. I've been using it so much for the past three months. The other nail polish I bought is called Blue Sky. I don't think the name is relevant here as it is a bright mint green. This shade on the other side is perfect for Spring and Summer. I think I could successively survive a whole year with just these two!

I just adore the formula of these nail polishes! The brush makes it super easy to apply and it dries very quickly. I wouldn't say it dries in one minute, especially when it comes to the second layer but it surely does dry quicker than most of my nail polishes. It takes two coats for each of them to be completely opaque. Both of these nail polishes have an amazing gloss finish. As for the price (£1.79) these nail polishes truly are amazing and I will definitely get more shades if I get the chance!

THE PERFECT WHITE NAIL POLISH

I've been hunting for a good white nail polish for a really (REALLY) long time. I've tried many of them searching for one that would be opaque in two coats. To my surprise, it turned out to be very hard. And then finally, I found the Barry M nail paint in Matt White. I went to Superdrug and saw an offer 3 for 2 for all Barry M products and couldn't help but buy three Barry M nail polishes. One of them was of course Matt White.

It really is opaque in two coats, it stays on nails without any chips for about 5-7 days which for me is amazing. As for the shade it is a true white colour, not slightly grey or yellow one. It has a little bit of shine but I wouldn't say it's glossy, it's not matt either (even though the name could imply it). The only word that describes this nail polish decently is: PERFECT.

I definitely need to buy some more Barry M nail polishes! Have you ever tried Matt White?

MY THOUGHTS ON: LUMINOUS RED BY NAILS INC.

Some time ago I bought this Luminous Red nail inc. nail polish in an offer with Colgate Max White ONE toothpase in Boots. I haven't tried a nail inc. nail polish before but I've heard they are pretty amazing and the offer was so great that I couldn't just leave the drugstore without it.

I painted my nails with Luminous Red couple days ago and I have to say that it was a pleasure using it. It was very easy to apply even thought it has a regular brush instead of the wide one which supposedly makes applying nail polishes easier. It was opaque in one coat but I wouldn't be me if I haven't add the second one. It actually look better after applying the second coat but one was fine too.

As for the shade, I totally love it even though I didn't have any choice. This offer included only Luminous Red. It is a nice bright red which looks amazing on nails. I think I'm going to use it very often this autumn. As for the wear time, it stayed on my nails for about 4 days without any chips, then it started chipping but as it wasn't that bad I removed it after 6 days. For me 6 days is perfectly fine.

Have you tried this nail polish? What do you think about it?

NEW IN: BARRY M NAIL POLISHES

You know that amazing feeling when you step into the drugstore and you see this big sign saying "3 for 2"? I know that feeling now. I went into Superdrug couple days ago and saw that exact thing and it was all about Barry M. As I couldn't just leave the store without anything I bought three Barry M nail polishes.

Picking those colours wasn't difficult at all as I made a Barry M wishlist some time ago.

Matt White was the most obvious choice as I wanted a good white (opaque in two coats) nail polish and I heard this one is pretty good. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it will meet my expectations!

Strawberry Ice Cream is a nice pale-but-not-too-pale pink. I wanted such nail polish for a long time now. I've probably mentioned this million times before but I really do love my H&M's Pink Macaroon. Unfortunately it is very low quality (it chips one day after applying) so I was looking for something similar. Firstly, I bought Rimmel Salon Pro in New Romantic. Unfortunately it's not opaque even in three coats... So that's the reason why I've bought Strawberry Ice Cream. I've already tried it and I love it! It could be a LITTLE bit lighter, so I will still keep my eyes open on pale pink nail polishes but the formula is totally amazing! It stays very long on nails without any chipping. I'm in love!

Gold Mine Glitter is the one I spend about 15 minutes deciding on. It was not on my wishlist but a very similar one called Sequin Nail Effects - Black was and as Gold Mine Glitter was slightly cheaper and my budget is quite tight at the moment, I've chosen it! I've also used it already and I think it's amazing! I'm so glad I've picked it!

The "3 for 2" offer doesn't end till the end of September so if you want to try these Barry M nail polishes you can get them in Superdrug, £2.99 each so you can get three amazing nail polishes for £5.98. BARGAIN!

Do you like Barry M nail polishes? Which colours are your favourite?

PS. Sorry for not posting much lately but I'm actually in London for 4 days now. Just making my dream come true, no biggie. I'll be back in Sunday evening! Hope you're all fine. xx

BARRY M NAIL POLISHES WISHLIST

I know Barry M is one of the best nail polishes brand because I've seen many many people rave about it. And this many people can't be wrong, right? Even though I know that, I still haven't bought my first Barry M nail polish. I went through all of them (at least those presented on Barry M's official website) and picked my favourites. Now I just have to choose which of these I like the most because I don't think my bank account will like (or survive) buying all at once right now.
Matt White - for me this is a "must have". I've been loving white nails lately... but other people's white nails as I just can't find a good white nail polish. Every single one I tried before needed at least three layers for opaque polish. I think this Barry M Matt White would meet my expectations.

Lemon Ice Cream - I've never really liked yellow nail polishes but after seeing Lemon Ice Cream on some blogger's hand (sorry, can't remember who that was) I fell in love. It looks amazing, but only with tanned skin and as it's still summer and sun is still shining, I think I'm good.

Jewel Glitter Nail Paint (Amethyst) - I have no idea why I like this nail polish so much. I don't particularly love blue nail polishes (unless baby blue or mint blue) and I'm not the biggest fan of glitter on nails (mostly because it takes ages to remove). But from the first moment I saw it, I knew we were destined to be together.

Strawberry Ice Cream - You know I like my pale pink nail polish. My forever favourite has always been the H&M Pink Macaroon. Unfortunately it's not the best quality nail polish (maybe not even "medium" quality) so I always look for a similar shade but better quality nail polish. I think this one would do!

Instant Nail Effects Foil (Silver) - If you ask me why I chose silver over gold, I would have to say "I don't know". I want them both! I just wonder if they really look like foil on nails.
Confetti Nail Effects (Liquorice) - Confetti nails, yes please! I've heard so much about this effect and I think it's so amazing that not including it here would be a crime. I chose the black & white confetti so I could use not only with white or black nail polishes, but also with colours.

Gelly Nail Effects (Green Berry) - Another "must have" for me. I think this might be the most loved Barry M nail polish, I've literally seen it everywhere. Everyone has it, I have to have it too. I've heard that the gelly formula gives an amazing shine, I think I'd be very happy with this one.

Berry Ice Cream - After Lemon Ice Cream and Strawberry Ice Cream comes a Berry Ice Cream. I just love ice creams, ok? I also love pastels and we all know pale purple looks amazing on nails. I would definitely use it a lot.

Sequin Nail Effects (Black) - Black and gold is one of my favourite combinations when it comes to colours on nails. I think it looks very chic! I read this nail polish creates a great 3D effect so I am really curious and excited to try it!

Have you tried any of these Barry M nail polishes? Which of these should I choose?

NEW IN: PEACHY GARNIER, NAIL POLISH AND LIP CRAYON

So.. I was in drugstore, again. But everything's fine, I only bought what I needed, kind of. I actually walked into the drugstore to buy the lip crayon as it was on sale but oh well, buying two more things is not a crime.

A girl always needs a good, moisturising body lotion, right? And even though I wasn't in need of one, somehow after stepping into the drugstore the need reappeared. And of course the mint packaging got me. And the peachy scent. So I bought it. It is supposed to absorb very quickly because in only 7 seconds so I am really excited to check it... with a watch on my hand.

Some time ago I made a post about 60 seconds nail polish in Sun Downer and I wrote there that they are not the best nail polishes I have ever had because they seem to chip off after 2-3 days. And one coat is definitely not enough as the producer claims. But I decided to give them another chance because colours of these nail polishes are amazing! I think the Sky High looks very pretty and summery!

I also made a review post about Bourjois lip crayon in 'Orange Punch' two days ago in which I wrote that it's my favourite lip product I've tried so far. And I also mentioned that 'Peach On The Beach' is on my wishlist... so, it no longer is! I can finally tick it off the list! I think I even love this colour more than 'Orange Punch"!

Have you tried any of this products? Let me know what you think!

RECENTLY FAVOURITE: NAIL POLISH

I have to admit, I am a nail polish addict. I love painting my nails, I love trying new nail art and most of all I love picking up and buying new colours. (I like paying for them a little less but a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do, right?)

My favourite lately is this H&M nail polish in "Pink Macaroon". I think I should mention that it is not the best quality nail polish I have ever had as I find it chipping after two days but I don't really care. It's the most beautiful pale pink nail polish I have ever tried! Also, I think H&M nail polishes packaging is awesome, it looks so simple and classy.

In conclusion, I'm in love!

Have you ever tried this nail polish or other H&M nail polishes? What do you think?

MY THOUGHTS ON: RIMMEL 60 SECONDS NAIL POLISH IN SUN DOWNER

A couple days ago I posted my mini drugstore haul in which I included Rimmel's 60 Seconds nail polish in colour called "440 Sun Downer". As you've probably already figured "60 Seconds" is a series of nail polishes that dry very fast, or as the producer describes it "in a flash". I have to admit that I didn't count how many seconds it took for it to dry but it must say, it really happened in a flash!

When it comes to the colour it's somewhere between orange and a very bright coral and it's very very pigmented, which makes the colour look more intensive. It looks so great that after I applied it, I just couldn't stop staring at my nails. What I also really love about this nail polish it's the brush. Comparing to others, it is very wide and this really makes painting nails easier. As for coverage, I had to apply two layers and even though I do it even if it's not necessary, in this case - it was needed. Coming back to great things about this nail polish it is important to tell something about the price - you can buy it for £3,69 which is a bargain for such a good product.

And here's a bonus photo of my hand holding a delicious ice cream.
