TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: HOME

For now I live in a rented flat with my sister and two other friends while going back to my hometown, where my parents live, for the weekends. But there have been some conversations about buying a new flat for me and my sister recently. This will definitely not happen this year but it made me start thinking about what I would like this new place to look like. And what's better for searching for inspirations than Tumblr? Nothing, I know. 

I really want the apartment to be white and spacious, with big windows, necessarily. Wooden floors are also a must have for me. Tumblr made me realise I need a big desk for my workplace so I could a) be more organised and b) store my make up more easily because who knows how big my collection will be in a year. Another thing I need is big white bookcase. I'm already collecting books so I have "something" to place in that enormous bookcase. The last thing that MUST be in my future home is a SMEG refrigerator. Mint or pink, I don't care but it has to find its place in my kitchen one day.

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: BAGS

I'm in a desperate need of a new bag, preferably a big classic bag I could carry around anywhere. And of course, as always, I've been looking for an inspiration on the best website in the whole Internet world called Tumblr. If you don't know what Tumblr is (although I highly doubt that) it's the most addictive site you could ever imagine. I probably spend about 60% of my day there.

I've found some pretty amazing bags, most of them are incredibly expensive for me but at least now I know what I'm looking for. My favourite bag here is definitely the Givenchy Medium Antigona in shiny black leather. Of course a £1,185 bag isn't exactly what I need (or rather what I can afford) right now but I wouldn't mind it magically appearing in my room. The bag I'm also in love with is the Michael Kors Hamilton Satchel. It's made of black leather and gold metal details which make it look very special. I also really like the lock and the key thing going on there. I've always been loving classic satchels so I of course adore the Cambridge Satchel. It's perfect in this pastel mint shade!

So right after coming back home which is in less than 3 days I'm going to hit the shops and search for that perfect bag! Hopefully I'll find one! What do you think of these bags? Which one is your favourite?

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: WORKSPACE

Remember when I did a post about inspirations for decorating my bedroom? Since then, I haven't stop thinking about what I could change in my bedroom to make it look like the ones I've picked for that post. White, girly and pretty would be perfect for describing such bedrooms. 

I decided to start with my workplace because as a blogger and tumblr addict this is where I spend the most time. If this goes on, I'm gonna have to install a fridge somewhere near but that's a whole nother story.

As I'm probably going to get a new room soon (by "soon" I mean in a year... or two) I've started looking around a little bit, just to know what I want. Looking at these pretty pictures I found in a magical (but very time consuming) place called tumblr I've noticed that I need three things to make my workspace look pretty: a white desk, Mac computer and flowers. Flowers are obviously the easiest to get and I assure you they will stand on my desk after I finish writing this post. As for the Mac computer, besides the fact that I don't need it at all right now as I get on with my Sony Vaio very well, it would be the hardest thing to get. But if enough money magically appeared on my bank account I would have to buy a big white desk first as for now, there's no place on my little wooden desk for such big computer. Other than these three most important things I'm also going to need some pale pink decorations like brush holder or a lamp. Also a pinboard or blackboard would also be a great idea and as I'm make-up obsessed I would need a lot of shelves and drawers to storage all of my make-up. 

In a conclusion, to make my workspace look as pretty as these presented above I need: big white desk, a Mac computer, some colourful flowers, pastel decorations, pinboard and make-up storage. I'm of course not an expert when it comes to decorating interiors but fortunately my sister is, so I'm just gonna ask her for help.

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: BEDROOM

Summer break is not over which means I haven't stopped scrolling. I think I'm gonna have to take my index finger to some kind of rehab or something soon. Anyway, this week I've found many many pictures of people's bedrooms. I looked at these pictures, then I looked around my bedroom, then I looked back at these pictures and didn't want to look at my bedroom ever again. All of these are so pretty! How do people do that? Well, I think I know the answer.

The answer is WHITE. White is in every single bedroom. I can see white furniture, white beds, white window frames, white lamps and many many other white accessories. I really love how all of these bedrooms are decorated. I think my bedroom doesn't look so impressive as I've found only one white thing in it, my laptop. I think I'm gonna have to buy some paint to make everything white and then go to Ikea and buy more white things.I wish I could just change things white with a wand. I also really love these bedrooms because of pastel accessories like mint pillows or pale pink boxes. I think they make the room look very girly. I'm by no means an expert in home decor and I have no idea if such colours are in now or not but what i know is that I love it and I want my whole future apartment to look like that.

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: T-SHIRTS WITH A MEANING

Yes, you're right. I've been scrolling again. This time I've noticed many t-shirts with printed sentences on Tumblr's dashboard and of course, I fell in love with them and felt a need of sharing them with you. So, here they are - my Tumblr inspirations!

I'm pretty sure you all know where "You can't sit with us" and "On Wednesdays we wear pink" come from, but if you don't these phrases come from a movie called "Mean Girls". If you haven't watched it yet, then go, watch it now because it's A-MA-ZING! I just need one more saying "That's so fetch" and I'm good! The "Stressed, depressed but well dresses" is the most perfect phrase for a t-shirt, assuming that the t-shirt is dressed well, of course. The one I like the most of these four is the "More issues than Vogue" one, not the t-shirt, the print. I really love what they did there!

I'm not sure how this happened but here I've placed only white-background-black-print t-shirts, actually most of my choices are this way. It's probably because it makes the phrase very clear and also they're the easiest to DIY. My favourite here is definitely the "Shopping is my cardio" one. I would feel very truthful wearing this as shopping really IS my cardio. I also really love the "Pardon my French" one, it would be perfect for wearing on a day in Paris, right? 

I think t-shirts like this are really great to wear from time time as they bring something "fresh" into the outfit. What's also amazing about them is that you don't need to pay enormous money for them, you can do them yourself with fabric paints or transfer paper!

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: MINI TATTOOS

As you may have already noticed, lately scrolling the Tumblr dashboard has been my full-time job... Well, more like full-time pleasure. So as I was scrolling into the very deepness of Tumblr I spotted many photos of mini tattoos... and I liked them. I've been wanting a tattoo for a very veeery long time but still somehow haven't got one. I think a very small tattoo is a good for the start as it's not always very visible and you can easily hide it. 

I've chosen my six favourite photos of mini tattoos for this post. Firstly, I think it is important to give the tattoo a meaning and that's why a word is something I would like to get tattooed. I especially like the "fearless" tattoo as it is written in the most beautiful font. Definitely the font I would use for my mini tattoo! When it comes to placing the tattoo on the body I really like finger tattoos. Especially these presented in the first picture. Doesn't it just look beautiful?

TUMBLR INSPIRATIONS: HAND JEWELLERY

It's holiday break which means that I spent far more time on Tumblr than I should. And while scrolling I came across a lot of photos of hand jewellery. I have to admit I love the idea of wearing multiple rings and bracelets and that's why I decided to share it with you. 

I especially like these mid finger rings, which I think are kind of a new thing. They usually are very small but I guess the details make the outfit look perfect. I'm also totally in love with chain bracelet rings, especially when the chain is very thin and gold. As for the bracelets my favourite are the three presented in the first photo. I think bracelets like these look great on tanned skin and the turquoise detail makes them look even more summer-ish.
