CELEBRITY STYLE: LILY COLLINS

I've been obsessed with The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones lately. And this obsession involved checking out photos of main actors after every premiere or press day. And I couldn't help but notice that Lily Collins (who plays Clary Fray, the main character) really knows how to dress up.

I love almost every single one of her outfits. She's 24 years old now but she still has this girly look. She has a great body and knows how to show it. She looks amazing in the long black skirt and the black top with a giant golden necklace she wore during a premiere in Berlin. I also really love the red dress with a dipped hem. It looks perfect with red heels and red lipstick. My absolute favourite is the outfit she wore for Teen Choice Awards 2013. The palm tree printed skirt is just perfect!

Lily Collins doesn't only look good in long, ellegand gowns, she also looks incredible in more casual outfits like skirts, shorts and mini dresses. My favourite is definitely the one on the right. She wore these Paper London cropped top and high-waisted shorts during a press line at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego. With classic black high heels she looked just gorgeous.

What do you think of Lily Collins' style? Which outfit is your favourite?

AUGUST FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe that August is already gone. I feel like 2013 started yesterday so imagine how surprised I was when I realised it's September. The time goes by too fast, that's for damn sure. Anyway, the end of month always means one thing in blogging world: monthly favourites. And I also made my version of this blogging craze, so here it goes: my August favourites:

Let's start with nail products. This month I've been really loving two nail polishes. Both of them are Essie nail polishes, the first one is called "A crewed interest" which is a light, pastel peach colour. The second one is called "Navigate her" and is a pale green shade. Other than nail polishes I've been loving Sally Hansen Problem Cuticle Remover. It's very easy to use and really effective!

The next thing I've been loving in August is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. For the whole July and a half of August I've been using Astor Skin Match Care BB Cream (which I loved! review here) every single day. But the tube is empty now so instead of repurchasing it I came back to one of my favourite foundations. It really is amazing! It leaves the skin smooth, soft and flawless!

As for the blush, this month I've been really loving my new one, which is a Sleek blush in shade "Coral". It's really amazing and I really love it! I use it every single day! I just love how natural it looks on my cheeks. If you want to read a little bit more about it, I wrote a review which you can read by clicking here.

Maybelline Color Whisper in "Pink Possibilities" is definitely the product I've been loving the most in August. It's such a good formula, it feels amazing on lips and gives a nice sheer colour. I love such lipsticks! I definitely need to get other shades.

That is all as far as cosmetics are concerned but I've also been loving other things. I've been obsessed with The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones this month. First, I read the book which was totally amazing (I read it in four days which is VERY fast for me, believe me) and then I went to see the movie with my sister. The movie wasn't as good as the book, but it was still awesome. As for music, I've been loving "Heart by Heart" by Demi Lovato... which is a soundtrack to "City Of Bones". Oh well...

The last thing I've been really (I mean.. REALLY) obsessed in August is a little game called Wordament. Ever played it? It is a multiplayer online word game in which you are supposed to create as many words as you can from the board of 16 letters during 2 minutes. If you've never played it, please do. But I warn you, it is highly addictive!

What have you been loving in August?

SONG OF THE WEEK: "HEART BY HEART" BY DEMI LOVATO

I haven't done the "song of the week" post in a while as nothing really made me go "OMG" or "asdfghjkl". Until now. Have you already watched "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones"? Well, I haven't, I have to wait couple more hours. But I read the book (which was amazing by the way) and listened to the soundtrack (which is also amazing by the way).

The one song that really got me is "Heart By Heart" by Demi Lovato. I love Demi and her latest album is brilliant but this song, it's genius! I fell in love with it when I first listened to it (thanks to my friend Natalia) and now I just keep pressing that YouTube "play" button over and over. It's that amazing!

If you haven't heard it yet, you need to!

BOOKS TO READ OVER HOLIDAY BREAK

I think holiday is the best time for reading books as you can easily find time for it. Because I am a horribly slow reader I've decided to make a "Holiday Reading List" in which I've included four books. I hope it will motivate me to read faster or at least more frequently. I know that for many of you, reading four books in eight weeks is a piece of cake, but for me - it's a challenge.

I'm already in the middle of one of these books. I've started reading "Billy And Me" by Giovanna Fletcher about two weeks ago and I'm loving it so far. I'm reading it even slower as it is in English, not my native language. I'm really curious about what will happen in the second half of the book!

The next book I'm going to read is called "The Lost Hero" and it is the first part of the series "Heroes of Olympus" written by Rick Riordan. I've already read the whole Riordan's series called "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" which I totally loved and that's why I've decided to start the next series.

Next one to read will probably be "City of Bones" - the first book of the series called "Mortal Instruments" written by Cassandra Clare. The reason why I chose this book is the film that is to be released in August this year. As I always think books are better than films, I really want to read the story before watching it on the big screen.

The last one is the legendary "Fault in Our Stars" by John Green. I don't really know what to expect from it but I've seen far too many pictures, quotes and gifs on Tumblr so when I saw it in the bookstore, I just couldn't help but buy it. I have high expectations of it and I really hope it doesn't disappoint me.

Have you read any of these books? What do you think?
