LAZY DAY MAKE-UP ESSENTIALS

I'm pretty sure every single one of you has a lazy make-up day every now and then. I know it's nothing to be proud of but I generally am a lazy person so I probably have those days a little bit more often. I'm not one of these people who won't leave the apartment without a full make-up on but I definitely do feel better when I put at least something on.

On my lazy make-up days I always put some concealer on, under my eyes and on blemishes. For that I'm currently using the Seventeen phwoarr Paint heavy duty concealer. Unless the condition of my skin is very bad, then I'm going for the foundation. This probably is no surprise for you as I've been raving about this foundation many many times but for that I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.Optionally, I also like using the bronzer to give my face a little bit of shape and colour. My favourite right now is the Bourjois Bronzing Powder. For me, blush is always a must have! But on my lazy day I like using the Topshop cream blush as it's much easier to apply. My favourite shade is definitely Flush! Another lazy make-up day must have is a mascara! If I had to choose only one beauty product to use for the rest of my life, it would be mascara. I can't imagine any make-up without mascara. For my lazy make-up I like using the Astor Big & Beautiful Boom! Curved mascara. It's very easy to apply and gives a lot of volume! The last thing I have to do while putting a lazy make-up are brows! I feel like the face always looks better with the brows done. Currently I'm using the Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Dark Brown. It's not the best brow pencil I have ever used and I will definitely not repurchase it but it's good for lazy day make-up as it has a great spoolie brush which is great for shaping the brows and helps get rid of the product excess when I go a little too hard with the pencil.

LONG LASTING MAKE UP? YES, PLEASE!

For me, the most important feature of the product is its longevity. I've been trying many product, always with the purpose to find the most lasting ones. And I finally found some that I will use as long as possible!

When it comes to face products the most durable foundation I have ever used is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. No wonder why this is my forever favourite one. I will be repurchasing it as log as it stays on drugstore shelves. It says on my skin for a whole day without any movements. As for the powder, the most durable one I've used is a Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I haven't tried many powders because I've found this one quite soon. And I'm glad I did because this product is a miracle. It doesn't of course stay put all day but in the end of a day which powder does. It stays on my face for about 4-5 hours and that really is long for an oily/combination skin like mine. The most durable blush I've tried is the Sleek blush. It's not only highly pigmented and easy to apply but very long lasting. It stays on my cheeks for about 8 hours. I definitely need to get more shades!

Talking about eye products I've picked three: an eye liner, a cream shadow and powder shadows. As for the eye liner, the one I find the most durable is L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim. I remember wearing it once for a trip on a rainy day. I've been walking in the rain for a whole day, soaking wet and when I came back home, the liner was exactly where I'd applied it. I've never been more surprised in my whole life. My favourite long lasting cream shadow is the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow. I wouldn't say it stays put for 24 hours. It tends to crease after about 8-9 hours but it still is amazing for a person with oily eye lids like mine. As for powder shadows the most durable ones I own are Inglot eyeshadows. They stay on my eye lids for a whole day without creasing. They're also super pigmented and the colour range is amazing. I could rave about them for days!

Now onto the last part which is lip products. The first one is Collection Colour Pout Lip Stain. I became absolutely sure this is the most long lasting lip product I own when I woke up with it on my lips on New Year's Day, after wearing it for the whole evening and night of New Year's Eve. Imagine my surprise! The next lip product I find extremely durable is Barry M Lip Paint in Touch of Magic aka the green lipstick. It's like it changes the colour of my lips for about 7-8 hours. I'm so glad Barry M collaborated with Hogwarts to create this magical lipstick!

MY 5 FAVOURITE LIP PRODUCTS

Instead of doing a "September favourites" post I decided to post about my forever favourite (well... most like "so far favourite") lip products. I was never a lipstick person as my lips are quite narrow. I never thought I could wear a lipstick, until I met these five.

The first one, which is also my most recent purchase, is a Maybelline Color Whisper in Pink Possibilities. Other than the pretty pink packaging and a great name, I love the formula. It's quite sheer but can be build up, so it's perfect for my lips as they don't look well with bold lipstick on, well... not always. It also feels very good on lips, very moisturising.

The next one is the first lipstick I've ever bought and liked. It's Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 102. It is a matte lipstick and it has just the cutest shade ever! It's so... pink! Unfortunately it doesn't stay on lips for a long time but I love it anyway, it looks just uh-mazing on lips. I definitely need to buy another Kate Moss' lipstick!

The next lipstick I really really like is an Astor one. It's called Heidi Color Last VIP Lipstick and is in colour "005 Arty". I bought it more as an experiment, just to try a bold lipstick on my lips and I was totally surprised when it turned out it looks good! For now, it's my only bold lipstick but thanks to it, I'm gonna take a closer look at others.

Next two lip products are actually the same but it different shades. I just couldn't decided which one I love more, so I included both of them. They are Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayons. If you still don't have at least one of these, just go to the drugstore now and get one. They are so awesome! I have them in shades called: Orange Punch and Peach On The Peach. They are glossy but not sticky, they can be sheer but are very buildable. Just perfect, there's no other word than "perfect" to describe them.

Peach On The Beach

Orange Punch

That's it, these were my five favourite lip products. Have you tried any of them? What are your favourite lip products?

AUGUST FAVOURITES

I honestly can't believe that August is already gone. I feel like 2013 started yesterday so imagine how surprised I was when I realised it's September. The time goes by too fast, that's for damn sure. Anyway, the end of month always means one thing in blogging world: monthly favourites. And I also made my version of this blogging craze, so here it goes: my August favourites:

Let's start with nail products. This month I've been really loving two nail polishes. Both of them are Essie nail polishes, the first one is called "A crewed interest" which is a light, pastel peach colour. The second one is called "Navigate her" and is a pale green shade. Other than nail polishes I've been loving Sally Hansen Problem Cuticle Remover. It's very easy to use and really effective!

The next thing I've been loving in August is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. For the whole July and a half of August I've been using Astor Skin Match Care BB Cream (which I loved! review here) every single day. But the tube is empty now so instead of repurchasing it I came back to one of my favourite foundations. It really is amazing! It leaves the skin smooth, soft and flawless!

As for the blush, this month I've been really loving my new one, which is a Sleek blush in shade "Coral". It's really amazing and I really love it! I use it every single day! I just love how natural it looks on my cheeks. If you want to read a little bit more about it, I wrote a review which you can read by clicking here.

Maybelline Color Whisper in "Pink Possibilities" is definitely the product I've been loving the most in August. It's such a good formula, it feels amazing on lips and gives a nice sheer colour. I love such lipsticks! I definitely need to get other shades.

That is all as far as cosmetics are concerned but I've also been loving other things. I've been obsessed with The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones this month. First, I read the book which was totally amazing (I read it in four days which is VERY fast for me, believe me) and then I went to see the movie with my sister. The movie wasn't as good as the book, but it was still awesome. As for music, I've been loving "Heart by Heart" by Demi Lovato... which is a soundtrack to "City Of Bones". Oh well...

The last thing I've been really (I mean.. REALLY) obsessed in August is a little game called Wordament. Ever played it? It is a multiplayer online word game in which you are supposed to create as many words as you can from the board of 16 letters during 2 minutes. If you've never played it, please do. But I warn you, it is highly addictive!

What have you been loving in August?

I WENT TO DRUGSTORE... AGAIN. | MINI HAUL

Yesterday I went to drugstore with my sister and while we were stepping in we started wondering when we started being more excited for the drugstore shopping than clothes shopping. We still don't know the answer but I think this whole blogging thing had its part in it. This time I bought six products, a hair mask, two nail polishes, a lipstick, a brow enhancer and a mascara.

REVLON COLORSTAY BROW ENHANCER: I've never seen this before so it was a totally spontaneous buy. I bought it in colour Light Brown/Champagne and I hope it will match perfectly, I think it should. I haven't tried it yet but I'm really excited to. It is dual-ended wand which includes tinted wax (softly colours and sets brows) and a highlighter (brightens the eye area).

RIMMEL SALON PRO NAIL POLISH IN NEW ROMANTIC: I've been wanting a pale pink nail polish for quite long now. I really love my H&M's Pink Macaroon (click) but unfortunately its quality isn't the highest. I really hope this one will be much much better.

MAYBELLINE COLOR RAMA NAIL POLISH:  White is another nail polish shade I've wanted for a really long time. I think it might be a little too late for buying white nail polish as I think it's more of a summery colour. But who cares, I love white mani so much I'm gonna rock it this autumn.

MAYBELLINE COLOR WHISPER: This lipstick is another spontaneous buy. Lately I find myself buying lipsticks every time I'm shopping. This has to stop as I obviously don't need that many lipsticks. Anyway, I love it! The colour I chose is called "Pink Possibilities" and I'm definitely going to get some other shades.

MAYBELLINE VOLUM' EXPRESS THE ROCKET WATERPROOF MASCARA: My sister has bough it some time ago and she hasn't stopped raving about it since. The only thing she doesn't like about it is that the regular formula sometimes smudges a little bit. That's why I got the waterproof formula. I've tried it today and it didn't smudge at all so I think I'm gonna like it very very much.

BIOELIXIRE ARGAN OIL HAIR MASK: I once did a post about Lee Stafford's Arganoil (click) and mostly what I wrote there was "it sucks". But I decided to give argan oil another chance but this one I chose it in a form of hair mask. It is supposed to thicken my hair and add shine. I can't wait to try it!

That's all for today's haul. Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
