POSSESSION OBSESSION: CUTE COLLAR DRESSES

You may or may not already know that I am a dress addict. I love wearing them, buying them, looking at them. I love everything about them. One of the things I also love about dresses are cute collars. I've actually realised that I don't have a collar dress in my wardrobe and as this definitely need to change I decided to do a little investigation as to where can I buy the best ones.

Lucero Flower Print Collared Skater Dress | Missguided
Great shape of a dress connected with a great print. Everything a person like me needs for the spring. The white Peter Pan collar makes it all even better! It's cute and classy but will also look amazing with black leather jacket and biker boots.

Motel Beatrix Collar Shift Dress in Leopard  | Motel Rocks
The next dress is a little bit more wild as it comes in a leopard print. For me, leopard is a very risky print as it is very easy to make it look trashy. Fortunately though, this dress look nothing like that. The contrast collar and cute little buttons in the front make the dress look very vintage and chic.

Unfortunately now out of stock little black dress looks stunning with a small lace white collar. Despite it's formal colors and lace fabric it's smock shape makes it a bit more casual. I love wearing black therefore I would definitely feel comfortable in such dress. I'd just put on some flat shoes and I'd be good to go!

Burgundy Skater Dress With Contrast Collar | Glamorous
This dress is a little bit more formal than the others. It also comes in black and dark blue so believe me when I say that this shade is the least formal of them all. Although it's good to have one or two dresses like that. It is also very girly so it would look perfect with plain black flats.

Blue Check Contrast Collar Skater Dress | River Island
This dress might look more like an autumn dress but I'm pretty sure it'll look just as good during spring days. I love the little white collar but what I love even more is the shape of the dress. It's more flattering than most of skater dresses as the waist is a little bit lower than normally, which makes the person wearing it look slimmer. I definitely dig that!

Do you like collar dresses? Which one do you like the most?

FOCUS ON: CHRISTMAS DINNER

I can't believe Christmas Eve is exactly one week away! I mean... December has started about three days ago, hasn't it? No? Well... Time goes by far too fast, that's for damn sure. Anyway, I think Christmas is a very special time which you spend with your family (or not, like me this year) celebrating. It's also a great possibility to dress nice. I love dressing up for this occasion! In my country the most important meal is in the evening of Christmas Eve so I've searched the most amazing thing in the world called the Internet and found what I could wear during this special meal.

I really love dresses and I think a chic and classic dress would be the first choice for me. My favourite is the Kitana Baroque Mesh Panel Velvet Skater Dress found on Missguided. Velvet fabric is so in this season and the baroque mesh panel makes this dress look very elegant. I think it's perfect for the occasion. As for dresses I also chose: Cameo Rose Dark Red Necklace Trim Skater Dress and Belle Heart Black Baroque Print Contrast Skater Dress.

If not a dress I would choose high waisted shorts (or a skort) as I'm really into them lately. The skort I chose and absolutely love is from Miss Selfridge and is called Black Ponte Skort. I also really like Miss Selfridge's Petites Black Jacquard Shorts.

During the research I came across two pieces that I'm totally in love with but not really sure what to pair them with. The first one is the Sequin Open Back Crop Top from Topshop. It would probably look best with a classic black high-waisted skirt, a skater or a pencil one. The other thing is a Rosie Cracked Foil Geometric Mini Skirt. I guess I'm really into gold this year!

These are my choices for my special Christmas Eve supper. What would you wear for yours?

FOCUS ON: WET LOOK

Some time ago I made a post about Asos sale in which I included one wet look skirt. Since then I've been noticing wet look clothes far more often and kind of fell in love with them. The wet look fabric makes clothes look more interesting, I think. It looks almost like a leather but is more subtle and light. So I decided to make a little post about it and that's why I've chosen my top five wet look clothes to show you.

1. Gianina Contrast Leather Textured Dress, a skater black dress in a classic shape with a textured knit bodice and wet look skirt. I think it's perfect for a night out with friends. The wet look gives the dress a little more glamour rock style.

2. Taiga Wet Look Panel Tee, a t-shirt with black and wet look stripes. A tee like that combined with jeans shorts gives the outfit more grunge look.

3. Lakota Leather Front Tee, casual in the back, party in the front. A t-shirt with wet look front which changes a normal black t-shirt into something more chic, something I would wear for a night out.

4. Skater Skirt In Wet Look, a skirt that proves that wet look doesn't always have to be black. This red skater skirt together with black leather jacket and ankle boots make the perfect outfit.

5. Henah Leather Detail Top, a casual top featuring wet look detail to sleeves and pocket. I think such top can really make a normal, casual outfit look more rock-ish and glam.

These are only five things I chose for this post but I've found many many more in the Internet (thank you Internet and online shops for existing) so if you like this trend just type "wet look" wherever you are and they'll be there. So what do you think of this "wet look" trend?
