LAZY DAY MAKE-UP ESSENTIALS

I'm pretty sure every single one of you has a lazy make-up day every now and then. I know it's nothing to be proud of but I generally am a lazy person so I probably have those days a little bit more often. I'm not one of these people who won't leave the apartment without a full make-up on but I definitely do feel better when I put at least something on. 

On my lazy make-up days I always put some concealer on, under my eyes and on blemishes. For that I'm currently using the Seventeen phwoarr Paint heavy duty concealer. Unless the condition of my skin is very bad, then I'm going for the foundation. This probably is no surprise for you as I've been raving about this foundation many many times but for that I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.Optionally, I also like using the bronzer to give my face a little bit of shape and colour. My favourite right now is the Bourjois Bronzing Powder. For me, blush is always a must have! But on my lazy day I like using the Topshop cream blush as it's much easier to apply. My favourite shade is definitely Flush! Another lazy make-up day must have is a mascara! If I had to choose only one beauty product to use for the rest of my life, it would be mascara. I can't imagine any make-up without mascara. For my lazy make-up I like using the Astor Big & Beautiful Boom! Curved mascara. It's very easy to apply and gives a lot of volume! The last thing I have to do while putting a lazy make-up are brows! I feel like the face always looks better with the brows done. Currently I'm using the Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Dark Brown. It's not the best brow pencil I have ever used and I will definitely not repurchase it but it's good for lazy day make-up as it has a great spoolie brush which is great for shaping the brows and helps get rid of the product excess when I go a little too hard with the pencil.

FEBRUARY WISHLIST

Here are some beauty and fashion things I would love to get before too long. And by " before too long' I mean before the Spring really arrives. It can already be felt in my city as the sun is shining here every single day and it's so warm I sometimes don't even need a coat. I can't believe it's still February! And I'm definitely not complaining. So as the always wanted Spring is just around the corner, here are some pretty things I'm adding to my enormous never ending wishlist!

1. Topshop Mono Floral Crop Top I love wearing skater skirts but I always struggle with combining them with tops. I don't really own many tops that go together with skater skirts and this definitely has to change! Especially now, before Spring, the season of skater skirts. I really love this Topshop top as it is quite chic, just how I like to dress up lately! It would look amazing with my black leather skirt.
2. Topshop Concertina Bag I don't really feel comfortable wearing bright coloured bags during most of the time and I do think it's quite hard to combine them with some outfits so obviously most of the bags I own are brown or black. A yellow bag like that would definitely be a good start of the new era in the baggy part of my life. 
3. e.l.f. Studio Baked Eyeshadow Palette I've heard that e.l.f.'s baked eyeshadows are really good therefore I would definitely like to have them in my make-up collection. There are four different sets of shades available and I think I would choose NYC (the one in the picture above) and California. And Texas just because I love Texas. 
4. e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette Here's another e.l.f. eyeshadow palette because again, I've heard they are great. This time it's an enormous palette with a wide range of colours: blues, greens, pinks, oranges and a big variety of neutrals. Just the palette I need!
5. Soap & Glory Glow All Out Luminising Face Powder Here's another thing I've heard a massive amount of good things about. It looks like it would give a nice natural glow to my skin and this seems like a perfect option for the Spring! 
6. Bourjois Happy Light Foundation I love using my forever favourite foundation which is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation and as it does have a little shimmer in it, it gives a nice glowing effect aswell. But if I was looking for a replacement I would definitely try this one first! It seems like a perfect foundation for the springtime and it also hydrates the skin for 8 hours!
7. Real Techniques Starter Set  I feel like it's about time I got myself some really good quality set of eyeshadow brushes and even though this one is called a starter set, I think it is just the one I need. The base shadow brush, crease brush and the liner brush would really help me in my everyday make up routine.

MY THOUGHTS ON: TOPSHOP CREAM BLUSH IN FLUSH

Some time ago I bought my first cream blush and I need to tell you, I am amazed. I bought the Topshop Blush in Flush. Flush is a pink shade that suits most skin tones, it's a very neutral shade. 

I absolutely love the packaging of this blush, I actually love the packaging of all Topshop make-up products. It's so simple and those black sketching polka dots make it look so adorable. It's also very good quality. 

As for the formula, it's definitely cream to powder. It's cream when applying but then dries and changes into powder. I've heard many people complaining about cream to powder blushes but I think I actually prefer it that way as the finish is matte. It's very easy to apply, I do it with my fingers by dotting it on my cheeks and then blending. The colours are very pigmented which might seem a little scary but when blended in, the blush looks very natural. 

As for the wear time, it stays on the cheeks for about 8-10 hours, which for me is a great amount of time. I will definitely be rushing back to Topshop to get some more shades of this cream blush! "Head Over Heels" would look great in my make-up collection!

FOCUS ON: CHRISTMAS DINNER

I can't believe Christmas Eve is exactly one week away! I mean... December has started about three days ago, hasn't it? No? Well... Time goes by far too fast, that's for damn sure. Anyway, I think Christmas is a very special time which you spend with your family (or not, like me this year) celebrating. It's also a great possibility to dress nice. I love dressing up for this occasion! In my country the most important meal is in the evening of Christmas Eve so I've searched the most amazing thing in the world called the Internet and found what I could wear during this special meal.

I really love dresses and I think a chic and classic dress would be the first choice for me. My favourite is the Kitana Baroque Mesh Panel Velvet Skater Dress found on Missguided. Velvet fabric is so in this season and the baroque mesh panel makes this dress look very elegant. I think it's perfect for the occasion. As for dresses I also chose: Cameo Rose Dark Red Necklace Trim Skater Dress and Belle Heart Black Baroque Print Contrast Skater Dress.

If not a dress I would choose high waisted shorts (or a skort) as I'm really into them lately. The skort I chose and absolutely love is from Miss Selfridge and is called Black Ponte Skort. I also really like Miss Selfridge's Petites Black Jacquard Shorts.

During the research I came across two pieces that I'm totally in love with but not really sure what to pair them with. The first one is the Sequin Open Back Crop Top from Topshop. It would probably look best with a classic black high-waisted skirt, a skater or a pencil one. The other thing is a Rosie Cracked Foil Geometric Mini Skirt. I guess I'm really into gold this year!

NOVEMBER FAVOURITES

I have no idea how this happened but it seems like 2013 is almost over! There's only one month left, can you believe it? The time goes by far too fast, that's a fact. Unfortunately, I can't stop time but I can post my November Favourites!

The first thing I've been really loving this month is The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter. I've been using it so so much! When I was buying it, I thought it was going to be just like a normal nourishing body lotion or body butter but I was so wrong. The smoothness it has given to my skin is way beyond "normal". 

I've been also really loving my Real Techniques blush brush that I got from my sister as a Birthday gift. It's my first ever RT brush but definitely not the last one. It is so soft and it makes applying blush so easy and quick! The only downside of it is that it makes me want more RT brushes... Oh well, soon! 

As for eye products I've been using the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint a lot. I love using it under eyes. I'm not going to write all of its benefits here because it would make this post far too long but you can read my review here. I've been also wearing a green and grey smoky eye and for that I've been using the Rimmel Glam'Eyes Quad Eyeshadow palette in Thrill Seeker. I just love this shade of green and I think it looks really good with my hazel eyes. I've also been loving the Creep eyeshadow from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It's just a great shade which looks amazing on its own or as a part of a smoky eye!

Another product I've been loving in November is a Topshop blush in Flush. It's the first cream blush I've ever used and I have to say, I'm in love! I definitely want (NEED!) to try some more cream blushes. And buy some more shades of Topshop's blush, that's how much I love it!

The last thing I've been loving and using A LOT is a Barry M Lip Paint in Touch Of Magic which looks like a green lipstick but actually gives a nice pink shade, a little fuchsia I would say. But what I love about it the most is that it lasts forever! Well, not literally but it stays put for a really long time.

TOPSHOP BEAUTY WISHLIST

Some time ago I bought a Topshop blush in Flush as a part of a sister haul that me and my sister made during out little trip to Londonderry. After using it couple of times since then I can now officially say that... we're in love. I haven't written a full review on it yet but I promise you, I will. Here's a little teaser: it is amazing. 

So I went through Topshop's website looking for other cosmetics as I've never really looked at them before. At first, I think it's need to be said that the packaging is great. So simple, so fun and so chic! I realised that Topshop has a nice range of beauty products. I've heard about Lip Bullets before so I would definitely like to own one. My favourite shade is called There She Goes. In the picture it looks like a light peachy pink, exactly how I like it. As for lip products I would also really like to try Topshop's lipstick. The one I think I'd get is called Ohh La La. I don't think I will ever get over coral lipsticks. 

As for face products I would love to have a Topshop's highlighter in Crescent Moon. It's a little bit shimmery and pearly, I think it might be very nice. The Glow Highlighter in Polish is another highlighter I would love to try. This one is a cream highlighter so I'm very curious about how it looks like on the skin.  

I've never tried a Topshop's nail polish even though they're quite famous, I think. I don't know whether they are good or not, I've heard many different opinions but the colour range is just amazing. Well, I wouldn't be me if I didn't go for a pale pink shade. Yes, I'm still looking for a perfect pale pink nail polish. Maybe Milkshake would meet my expectations. I would also love to try one of Topshop's metallic nail polishes. The one I love the most is called Blitz.

HUNTING FOR GLOVES

Is it only me or you've also noticed that it is absolutely FREEZING outside? I can already smell winter and Christmas (not complaining about the Christmas part) in the air and my hands definitely feel it too! And that is why I need new warm gloves. And not just any gloves, the cutest pair I can possibly find!

I was walking round the shops and couldn't find anything cute enough but thankfully there is that thing called the Internet that really helped me out... or confused me even more as now I have a dilemma. Which pair is the cutest?

I think my favourite are People Tree Penguin Mittens. I mean... who wouldn't like to have two little penguins warming their hands? I know I would! I also really like those ASOS Snowman Mittens even though I have no idea how is a snowman supposed to keep my hands warm... (Just a little joke of mine). I also really liked: Bunny Mittens, Tan Cream Faux Shearling Mittens (which would actually be the most clever choice here as the cold probably can't get through them), Cable Mittens in Lime, Moschino Cheap And Chic Heart Gloves (cute and chic!) and even though I know Halloween is over - ASOS Pumpkin Convertor Mittens, I just couldn't resist!

NEW IN: SISTERS HAUL

As you know, my sister, who also is Martyna from NEON MIZZLE (you might know her but if not, go check out her blog because it's definitely my favourite!) came to visit me in Ireland. But visiting was not the only purpose of her trip, she also came her for shopping, obviously! And as I went to all these drugstores with her, I couldn't just let her spend all the money by herself, could I? You should know that as sisters, we are very close. So close that we also buy A LOT of the same products (yeah... even the same shades). And that is exactly why this haul happened. 

The first stop was Boots and as they had an offer 3 for €12 on selected Seventeen cosmetics, we just couldn't resist. I have to say, I've never tried any Seventeen cosmetics before so I have no idea if they're good or not but I am very excited to give them a try. We both went for a Stay Time Long Wear Primer, that was an obvious choice for me because I was just running out of my previous primer. We also bought the Stay Time Foundation in shade Natural. It is supposed to give a full coverage and stay put for 25 hours. I don't know who has their make up on for 25 hours but for me the longer the better. The last thing we both bought is a Phwoarr Paint in shade Medium. I've seen many beauty bloggers rave about it. It's supposed to be used on dark circles under eyes and as I'm struggling with them lately, I think it would be perfect for me!

Another thing we both bought is a Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I've been wanting this concealer for ages! I don't think there's a one person in blogging world who has not rave about it. So me and my sister decided to give it a try as well. The next stop was Topshop. I've always wanted to try a cream blush but nothing ever caught my attention like Topshop's blush in Flush. It's my first cream blush so I am more excited to see how it works on my cheeks! I'm also in love with the shade!

And the last stop, Penneys. What's the point in buying all these cosmetics if you don't have a pretty make-up bag to keep them in? Exactly, there's no point. So we hit Penneys and found ourselves some pretty make-up bags. My sister got a black rock style one with bunch on skulls and I got a black quilted one with a white bow. I think they suit our personalities and styles perfectly!

FOCUS ON: HALLOWEEN

I know it's not Halloween yet but it's already round the corner and we can definitely see that in all stores that are full of creepiness and spookiness. As I've seen a lot of Halloween clothes and accessories in shops lately, I thought it would be a good idea to show you some. I've never really celebrated Halloween as in my native country it's not very common so now as I'm in a place where people actually celebrate it, I'm very (probably too much) excited for the big day to come!

OCTOBER WISHLIST

As we're in the middle of October I though it would be a great time to make an October Wishlist. As October always seems to be a little bit colder than previous months (obviously) I tend to spend even more time at home and be bored. I don't know about you but boredom makes me want things. I always end up going through online stores looking for that perfect dress, coat, top... So I guess this boredom created perfect conditions for me to make this wishlist!

The first thing I want this month is a PURPLE PAISLEY BUBBLE JUMPER. It's perfect in every way. The shape is totally in this autumn, the paisley print makes me want to wear it all the time and the fact that every jumper I own is in this exact shade of purple means something. Perfection is the only word that can be used to describe this jumper.

I also really love this RHIANNA 3/4 SLEEVE GEOMETRIC FIT & FLARE MINI DRESS. I've seen quite similarly printed shirt in Penneys lately and I totally fell in love with it. Those little geometric things make it look so pretty! And this is totally my favourite shape of a dress! I just realised I don't own any 3/4 sleeve dress... This has to change asap!

As for clothes I've also really been loving coats and jackets lately. I chose two for this post, both from New Look. The first one I spotted is a BLACK LEATHER-LOOK AZTEC EMBOSSED JACKET. I'm totally in love with the embossment and the shape of it. Uh-mazin'! The BURGUNDY LEATHER-LOOK SLEEVE WATERFALL JACKET is what I think (I can't decide!) I love the most in this wishlist! It's so perfect! And so easy to throw on during warmer days! The last clothing piece I really like are MID WASH PANEL DETAIL JEANS. They are quite high waisted, simple, super skinny and mid washed. Exactly how I like my jeans!

As for accessories I thought I'd need some warm mittens. I fell in love with these CABLE MITTENS at a first sight! I'm not really sure about the colour but ahh who cares! They're awesome. I know I mentioned this before but I am OBSESSED with bowler hats. And as I found another one I just had to put in on my October wishlist. The PORK PIE HAT (or is it called pork pie hat? I'm confused.) I found in Topshop is just the best I've seen yet. Great colour, great shape and awesomeness. It's got it all. There's also one bonus "accessory" I just had to put in here. Isn't the CUPCAKE MEMO NOTEPAD just the cutest thing ever?

The last section (I hope you made it that far.) is all about cosmetics. I've been obsessively wanting to try the SEVENTEEN PHWOARR PAINT. I heard it is amazing and I'm very determined to see if that's true. The RIMMEL KATE SPRING LIPSTICK in shade 16 is something I've been wanting for ages now. I haven't bought it earlier as some other lip products were instantly somehow popping into my make up collection and now I totally regret that as I can find "16" anywhere. Well... karma.

FOCUS ON: CAMI TOPS

I know summer is nearly over but we still have couple of days (maybe even weeks), right? At least I hope so. I think cami tops have been a real blast this year and I am totally not surprised. They are perfect for the summer! They're weightless, a little baggy, look good with everything and on anyone.
I love how differentiated can cami tops be. Some of them are normal length, some are cropped, some are just black and white, some are neon, some are plain and some are printed, some are one layered, some are two layered, some are see through, some are not. Some of them even have a little peplum, mesh panel, frill or cute little buttons.
They look great with jeans shorts, three quarters length trousers, long trousers and even with skirts, even high-waisted skirts as such tops can easily be tucked into them. I just can't stop raving about how awesome they are but I think I'm gonna have to as I don't want to bore you to death.

DAISIES, DAISIES EVERYWHERE

Is it only me or did the daisy print dominate all floral prints this year? I've seen daisies almost everywhere. On jeans, dresses, skirts, jumpers, swimsuits and tops. And I'm definitely not complaining. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that I couldn't find anything daisy printed in my wardrobe. That's why I decided to dig a little bit to find the best daisy printed pieces. And that's what I've found:
